CVE-2023-54273 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: Fix leak of dev tracker At the stage of direction checks, the netdev reference tracker is already initialized, but released with wrong *_put() call.
CVE-2023-54255 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sh: dma: Fix DMA channel offset calculation Various SoCs of the SH3, SH4 and SH4A family, which use this driver, feature a differing number of DMA channels, which can be distributed between up to two DMAC modules. The existing implementation fails to correctly accommodate for all those variations, resulting in wrong channel offset calculations and leading to kernel panics. Rewrite dma_base_addr() in order to properly calculate channel offsets in a DMAC module. Fix dmaor_read_reg() and dmaor_write_reg(), so that the correct DMAC module base is selected for the DMAOR register.

CVE-2023-54325 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: qat - fix out-of-bounds read When preparing an AER-CTR request, the driver copies the key provided by the user into a data structure that is accessible by the firmware. If the target device is QAT GEN4, the key size is rounded up by 16 since a rounded up size is expected by the device. If the key size is rounded up before the copy, the size used for copying the key might be bigger than the size of the region containing the key, causing an out-of-bounds read. Fix by doing the copy first and then update the keylen. This is to fix the following warning reported by KASAN: [ 138.150574] BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in qat_alg_skcipher_init_com.isra.0+0x197/0x250 [intel_qat] [ 138.150641] Read of size 32 at addr ffffffff88c402c0 by task cryptomgr_test/2340 [ 138.150651] CPU: 15 PID: 2340 Comm: cryptomgr_test Not tainted 6.2.0-rc1+ #45 [ 138.150659] Hardware name: Intel Corporation ArcherCity/ArcherCity, BIOS EGSDCRB1.86B.0087.D13.2208261706 08/26/2022 [ 138.150663] Call Trace: [ 138.150668] <TASK> [ 138.150922] kasan_check_range+0x13a/0x1c0 [ 138.150931] memcpy+0x1f/0x60 [ 138.150940] qat_alg_skcipher_init_com.isra.0+0x197/0x250 [intel_qat] [ 138.151006] qat_alg_skcipher_init_sessions+0xc1/0x240 [intel_qat] [ 138.151073] crypto_skcipher_setkey+0x82/0x160 [ 138.151085] ? prepare_keybuf+0xa2/0xd0 [ 138.151095] test_skcipher_vec_cfg+0x2b8/0x800
CVE-2023-54319 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: at91-pio4: check return value of devm_kasprintf() devm_kasprintf() returns a pointer to dynamically allocated memory. Pointer could be NULL in case allocation fails. Check pointer validity. Identified with coccinelle (kmerr.cocci script). CVE-2023-54317 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm flakey: don't corrupt the zero page When we need to zero some range on a block device, the function __blkdev_issue_zero_pages submits a write bio with the bio vector pointing to the zero page. If we use dm-flakey with corrupt bio writes option, it will corrupt the content of the zero page which results in crashes of various userspace programs. Glibc assumes that memory returned by mmap is zeroed and it uses it for calloc implementation; if the newly mapped memory is not zeroed, calloc will return non-zeroed memory. Fix this bug by testing if the page is equal to ZERO_PAGE(0) and avoiding the corruption in this case.
CVE-2023-54326 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: pci_endpoint_test: Free IRQs before removing the device In pci_endpoint_test_remove(), freeing the IRQs after removing the device creates a small race window for IRQs to be received with the test device memory already released, causing the IRQ handler to access invalid memory, resulting in an oops. Free the device IRQs before removing the device to avoid this issue.
CVE-2023-54315 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/powernv/sriov: perform null check on iov before dereferencing iov Currently pointer iov is being dereferenced before the null check of iov which can lead to null pointer dereference errors. Fix this by moving the iov null check before the dereferencing. CVE-2023-54297 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: zoned: fix memory leak after finding block group with super blocks At exclude_super_stripes(), if we happen to find a block group that has super blocks mapped to it and we are on a zoned filesystem, we error out as this is not supposed to happen, indicating either a bug or maybe some memory corruption for example. However we are exiting the function without freeing the memory allocated for the logical address of the super blocks. Fix this by freeing the logical address.
CVE-2023-54304 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: meson_sm: fix to avoid potential NULL pointer dereference of_match_device() may fail and returns a NULL pointer. Fix this by checking the return value of of_match_device.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: fastrpc: fix memory corruption on open The probe session-duplication overflow check incremented the session count also when there were no more available sessions so that memory beyond the fixed-size slab-allocated session array could be corrupted in fastrpc_session_alloc() on open().
CVE-2022-49949 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware_loader: Fix memory leak in firmware upload In the case of firmware-upload, an instance of struct fw_upload is allocated in firmware_upload_register(). This data needs to be freed in fw_dev_release(). Create a new fw_upload_free() function in sysfs_upload.c to handle the firmware-upload specific memory frees and incorporate the missing kfree call for the fw_upload structure.

CVE-2023-52927 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-31 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: allow exp not to be removed in nf_ct_find_expectation Currently nf_conntrack_in() calling nf_ct_find_expectation() will remove the exp from the hash table. However, in some scenario, we expect the exp not to be removed when the created ct will not be confirmed, like in OVS and TC conntrack in the following patches. This patch allows exp not to be removed by setting IPS_CONFIRMED in the status of the tmpl.
